Super Bowl: Cincinnati Bengals vs Los Angeles Rams

Super Bowl Time! At the end of this week, the whole world will be looking to California, where the Cincinnati Bengals will meet the Los Angeles Rams in the newly built SoFi Stadium on Monday night. But who will win the title?
Home field advantage for the Rams: in front of a huge crowd at SoFi Stadium, the Los Angeles franchise is the clear favorite going into the game. The combination of experienced professionals such as Matt Stafford, Aaron Donald and Von Miller paired with lively talents such as Jalen Ramsey, Cooper Kupp and Sony Michel will provide plenty of fuel for the fire.
The strength of the hosts lies in many aspects: for one thing, offensive mastermind Sean McVay coaches the Rams, for him, it is already the second Super Bowl. Hardly anyone understands the game as well as the 36-year-old, who has always optimally adjusted his players to the opponent this season. McVay is incredibly good at spotting specific coverages to create open throws. At just 30 years old, McVay was once the youngest head coach in the NFL, and six years later, he may finally be crowning his career. Since his start in 2017, the Rams have made the playoffs in all but one season, falling just short of the title in 2019.
Another asset, of course, is Matthew Stafford. The 34-year-old in the playoffs with at least a 68% completion rate and a QB rating of at least 96.3, the quarterback led the NFL in deep passing yards in the regular season. He also gets rid of the ball quickly, having the third most touchdown passes in under 2.5 seconds. Add to that wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who is having the season of his life with, 2333 receiving yards, as well as 20 touchdowns. Not to mention the O-Line, where pass blocking in particular is among the league leaders.
Even when Stafford wasn’t performing at 100%, the offense was putting up points. Defensively, the Rams are also solid, driving opponents crazy with outside linebacker Von Miller and defensive end Aaron Donald.
For the Bengals, it will be a huge task to pressure Stafford with their pass rush, because the Rams O-Line has it all. At the same time, they can’t neglect the coverage of players like Kupp. On offense, Joe Burrow will have to watch out for Miller/Donald and will once again face high pressure.
We’re going with the Los Angeles Rams in our Super Bowl tip and believe Cooper Kupp will score at least one touchdown.
