NFL Tip: Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots

As we enter week 3 in the NFL an absolute smasher is waiting for us: the Balitmore Ravens are going up north to Massachusetts to face the New England Patriots. Here’s our take on the Game.
Both teams started with a 1-1 record, in theory that sounds like they look eye to eye. But the reality looks different. The Pats had some big issues coming into that season. Whilst the Offense only made 17 points against Pittsburgh, the Defense was super strong. And that’s where they need to build upon, of course, with the help of Mastermind Bill Belichick. Outside Linebacker, Matt Judon, played four years with the Ravens and knows the franchise in and out. He could be a key factor in stopping Lamar Jacksons running game. But the O-Line of the Ravens is looking great. They didn’t allow any sacks or QB-hits in week 2. Good luck to Judon changing this.
The biggest challenge for the Patriots is stopping Lamar Jackson on the ground (1TD and 119 Rushing Yards) and in the air (3 TDs and 318 Receiving Yards). Almost every ball that the QB throws, arrives. Good news: not everything worked out against the Dolphins, otherwise the Ravens wouldn’t have lost this game.
Especially the Third Down Conversion was horrible, they missed some big points here. If you manage to stop Mark Andrews, the team from Baltimore has a big problem (Jackson targeted the WR 11 times in one game only). This could be another crucial point in this match-up, since the Patriots Defense performed very well against the pass.
All in all, we still see the Ravens as the better team. They managed to put 38 points on the board last week, and we believe they will sort their Defense out by Sunday. With Lamar being one of the best QBs out there, in the air and on the ground, plus an overall solid squad, we don’t see a W for the Pats this time. Sorry.
