Tip Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots

Week seven starts with our tip on the old AFC North clash Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots. Not too long ago, this was a matchup of two NFL heavyweights, but nothing is the same anymore. The Patriots are disappearing more and more in the lowlands of the league. The Bills, on the other hand, are one of the best teams in the league.

But let’s start with the Patriots. Before the season, it was expected to be a tough year, but after the first six days of play, the team is falling apart. The defense, also plagued by injuries, can’t stop anything or anyone, and the offense is incapable of scoring points.

The team averages 12 points and allows 25. That really says it all. In between there was a win against the Jets but the last three results from their point of view are 3-38, 0-34 and a 17-21 loss against the Raiders. Mac Jones has seven interceptions after six games and has finally proven that he is not the future of the Patriots.

It’s fair to question whether the Patriots should give up on the season to hope for a higher draft pick.

On the other hand, we have the Bills, who have been muddling through the season rather poorly. Although they have a record of 4-2 wins and a respectable victory against the Dolphins, there were also some subterranean performances.

Last weekend we were right with our tip on the Bills against the Giants, but the Bills Mafia had to shake until the last second to save the 14-9 advantage over time.

The defense is playing at a top level despite numerous breakdowns, but with Josh Allen, light and shadow simply alternate too often. Against the Giants, the franchise QB rushed for 169 yards with 2 touchdowns and one interception.

However, when things are going their way, there is hardly a team that can stop the Bills.

I’m a little uncomfortable predicting the Bills @ Patriots tip, but I’m just going to assume that the Bills will play at their normal level. Even that would be enough to put the Patriots in their place. On the Patriots side, I can’t see who is going to stop the Bills. Therefore, we go with the away team and guess victory Buffalo Bills.
