As was to be expected and as we had predicted, the Panthers had nothing to gain from the Lions. In the end they had to admit defeat with 24-42. Already after the first quarter it was 14-0 for the Lions. With it the play was already as good as decided.

Bryce Young had his best game ever for the Panthers with 3 touchdowns and 247 yards, but again he had 2 interceptions. Unfortunately, one has the impression that the NFL is currently too big for the number one draft pick. Admittedly, he lacks quality teammates, but his rookie colleague Stroud in Houston shows how you can make more out of little.

Besides the current record of 0-5 wins, of course, there is the fact that the Panthers gave up their number one pick for Young for 2024. Therefore, they must somehow find a solution to develop Young into a franchise quarterback. Quite simply, they have no other option.

Last week, we had already tipped the Dolphins as well. With the unchallenged 31-16 success, our tip followers were able to lean back relatively quickly and simply enjoy the game. A downer there was from the point of view of the Dolphins but, running back Achane has probably but more serious injury and will be out at least a month.

MVP contender Tua still has a few other options, though. Tyrek Hill is also playing like a different star this season, plus Waddle is fit again. Against the best teams in the league you can see that the defense still has some problems, but the Panthers unfortunately do not belong to this category at the moment.

For this reason, our tip on Carolina Panthers @ Miami Dolphins is relatively easy. Like last week, the Dolphins should take control relatively quickly. The Panthers simply don’t have the offensive resources to keep up. In the end, the Dolphins could end up with a result similar to the one they had against the Giants last week. The winner is therefore clearly Miami Dolphins for us.
