Tip New York Giants @ Buffalo Bills
To close out Game week 6, we look at the Giants @ Bills. On paper, it looks like a clear win for the Bills, but is that ultimately the case? Let’s take a look at our tip for the New York Giants @ Buffalo Bills matchup.
The Bills just got back from London and if you look at their performance there you’d think they hadn’t left at all. Almost sleepwalking they crept through the first quarter and were quickly behind 11-0. They couldn’t really recover from this deficit until the end. The end result was a 20-25 defeat.
If the defeat wasn’t bad enough, Matt Milano was injured as well. This means that the ceiling is gradually becoming thin, especially on defense. That’s not to completely excuse the lame performance, though. A running game is still not in sight for the Bills and if Josh Allen doesn’t have a great day, a match can quickly go to shit.
The Bills seem to have the exact same problems at this point as they did a year ago. On good days, they are capable of knocking off any team. But the Bills also manage to lose to every team. That’s what separates them from the best teams in the league, where the Chiefs and Eagles can win their games even when they’re not playing well. The Bills have yet to get there.
The opponent on the next matchday has not yet arrived this season. One has more and more the impression that last year’s season was a slip up and we see the real Giants this year.
With a record of 1-4 wins, the playoffs are already a long way off. When you see the team playing both offensively and defensively, I honestly lack faith that things will get better again this year.
Last game day there was an expected defeat at the Dolphins. Besides the 16-31 from the Giants’ point of view, Daniel Jones also got injured. At the moment we have to assume that he will not be fit in time for the Bills game.
As we wrote above, the Bills are capable of losing to any opponent, but here we can’t see a Giants win by any stretch of the imagination. Especially after a disappointing loss, the Bills always want to show that these are just nasty gaffes. In addition, Daniel Jones is not fit. All in all, we expect nothing but a clear-cut Bills home win here.
